That is a unique circumstance I agree. Do you intend on Renewing the Subscription for which you have on your Desktop as well? Also, do you have the "Auto-Renewal" setting turned on? If that is the case, you may be renewed in any instance , however at the (Full Price).
You can always avoid this, by Contacting Customer Service personally 24/7 (Free). Via Phone/Online Chat being much quicker. Simply locate the (Country) by selecting from the Drop Down Box upper Right Hand. Evidently your subscription for your Laptop was from the Manufacturer?
In any case, should you choose to Contact McAfee directly, it is most likely you could obtain a new subscription at a reduced price, which you can use another of your licenses for either one. That is of course if your "Auto Renewal" has not kicked in on your Desktop already.

Thank you both for your response. I have called the customer service. According to them this was not possible... Now I have e-mailed them my Dell invoice, so they can take further action.
