If I were you, I wouldn't meddle with files you know nothing about, those sound like essential files to me.
What operating system and service pack, if any, is this?
Also check for malware, see last link below.

Sorry for my fumbling verbiage..in asking my question; maybe a better question would have been:
Why is McAfee categorizing (these huge files) as Temps?
...and why NOW?
p.s. I realize I probably should be addressing this question to an MS Community, yet I chose McAfee,
because numerous C Drive entries (x86) are/were used by McAfee, itself.
BTW..my McAfee SecuritySuitePlus is supplied by my carrier..Cox Cable.

Well personally I prefer not to use Quickclean to clean the registry (or any other registry cleaner for that matter) as sometimes they clean more than they should.
Windows own cleanup tool is sufficient. There's an excellent forum here that helps with Windows 7 issues. It's run by a Microsoft MVP. http://www.sevenforums.com
I feel better. Thanks very much. Ha! Maybe what I really needed was a little Psychotherapy!
The thread may be of help to someone else, you never know ;-)
