can you send me the *.BUP File from your virusscan quarantine folder?
If we check the virus sample, perhaps we can figure out more details.
Sorry I cant seem to find the quarantine Folder
I got Windows 8.1 and its the first Scan I did after turning the Laptop on for the firtst time and it was found on an external USB drive 2 hours ago.
THe quarantine folder is not under C:User/program/mccafe/viruscan...
Which version of virusscan is installed?
The standard McCafee Live Security Version that came already installed on the new laptop.
under Info it says Version for Antivirus Antispay : 16.8
