I have had a Response from support:
$ sudo su – root
Enter the password :- ?
# /usr/local/McAfee/uninstall EPM
I'll test this next week and report back.
Running the command as the root user solved the problem and I was prompted for the ePO Password, once entered the product successfully uninstalled.
It could be applied to stand alone installation without EPO ? Im trying to get the 2.1 version uninstalled from Yosemite and having the same "Uninstallation failed" message using root or not.
Also when I've tried to run the command from /usr/local/McAfee folder says " URL is not uninstallable: EPM "
Any suggestion ?
Thanks a lot
