give a wake up call to the machine
Thanks so much for your answer. What would I have to do to get the Manage Features to not be grayed out? The Update Security is no longer grayed out.
make sure you have installed VSE on the endpoint.
So install VSE on the pc, and then do a forced install from the eOp server?
You can configure the install task from ePO or You can install manually.
What I meant was that you install VSE on the pc, then when adding the pc to the eOp, you have the option to when pushing out the agent to force the version of VSE on the pc to upgrade to the version on the eOp. I presume this will give you all the options you would normally have if you just load the VSE on the machine.
As the agent is in place you can assign the VSE install task for the machine or you can run the install task on the single machine or you can install VSE manually and as the agent is already installed the machine is added to the ePO. There is no need for force installation of VSE or the agent.
