Migrating endpoints from ePO 4.6.7 to 5.1.1

      Hi guys

I have been tasked with upgrading our current ePO to the latest release. Currently we are using ePO 4.6.7 and we want to go to 5.1.1. From what I know it is better to build a new server and install the latest ePO than try to upgrade our current ePO. Please correct me if I am wrong here.

So first off I have my Windows 2008 R2 virtual server with 8gb RAM and with 40gb C and D drives. I have downloaded the latest ePO 5.1.1 from McAfee and I am about to run the setup.exe.

My question is when I have installed 5.1.1 and its all up and running, how do I go about migrating my endpoints (PC's, Laptops and a few servers) from our current 4.6.7 server to the new 5.1.1 server?

Currently most of the PC's and laptops have agent 4.8.0.1500 and VSE 8.8.0.1247, the laptops also have Endpoint Encryption Agent/Encryption for PC 7.0.2.396. I need to make sure they all get the latest agent and VSE and they communicate to the new server once they are migrated of course.

Can someone point in the right direction please?
