If you add your Email Address under "Preferences" in Getsusp Interface, you should receive a confirmation from McAfee with a (Work Item ID #.) You may wish to additionally run some of the Superb Free Tools as well. Especially McAfee Stinger(Read how to use). And Malwarebytes (Free) Anti-Spyware/Malware & Hijacker Tools
In other words,Getsusp scans your system for Unknown/Suspicious Programs that have yet to be classified as a General Detection/Name. McAfee Labs will analyze files/programs detected.

You may replace the hosts file by following this article and re-run Getsusp. Check if it picks up the replaced hosts file as suspicious.
I replaced the hosts file as suggested and re-scanned with Getsusp. The scan did not find any suspicious files.

Yes, I would say either Selvan's post (#3) or your own post #4. It's just in this area we Moderators don't have the ability to do it ourselves.
