    Installing McAfee All Access - internet security, on a OS X Yosemite Mac

      I keep receiving a "There was a download problem" after two days of attempts.

      Is there a work around for this issue? The Mac was erased and newly installed with OS X Yosemite, prior to the attempts to install McAfee.

                            Since neither of us Moderators use Mac, hopefully our Forum Tech will pick up this thread and offer advice. Being that I am uncertain of his hours, please keep checking back. I do recall there being a discussion in regards to this, however for the sake of me I cannot  locate the Document.

             

                              The one I have found, I am uncertain if it will apply to your individual issues.

             

                              Of course you can always contact Technical Support 24/7 (Free) Phone/Via Chat being much quicker. Simply click on Mac and select Country.Services and Support for Home and Office

             

                               I might add also, we have to take into consideration that this is a "Holiday" week, so should factor this in regards to availability, in regards to our Forum Tech.

              Please check the information and post back with the observation. The 3.3 version of Installer is compatible with OSX Yosemite whereas 3.1 isn't.

                  Hi Peacekeeper,

                  Sorry for the delay in getting back.

                  I have dowloaded the 3.3 version and have updated OS X Yosemite with all new updates and still a no go.

                  It takes about 10 minutes to verify no software issues, lets me enter n the code then I still receive the "There is a download problem".

                    Can't vouch for AllAcess, but LiveSafe (3.3.0.0) does install for me on 10.10.1.

                      Open Goto Folder and type the following location


                      /var/log/MasterInstaller.log

                      /var/log/DownloadManager.log


                      Attach these 2 logs in your next reply to proceed further.

                        Hi Chinthanai,

                        I could not figure out how to attach the two files, so I just copied the log detail.

                        I attempted the install a few minutes ago, and had to cancel out as I received the same error message as before.
