Lower Working Thread Priority Registry setting

I'm wanting to set this via Group policy, however it will be stopped by the rule Common Standard Protection:Prevent modification of McAfee Common Management Agent files and settings. I would rather not stop the protection for this to take effect as we do not have all systems online at the same time so could take a while to get through to all systems, and similarly I would also prefer to not have svchost.exe to have rights to modify these files or settings as its a wrapper tha is used by lots of nasty software to work its way into your system.

Has anyone found a methos of putting this in place, after a VSE deployment, that has not required disabling of the security? I am actually a little surprised that this hasnt been included as an option in the agent settings somehow.
