You can configure report to ran on schedule in Report Operation Properties which is opened by right-clicking your report design element and then selecting Start. On the Task tab you can define report to be ran on schedule:
The Repeat period is automatically selected based on the Period you defined in the report properties:
So if I would change report period of this report to e.g. Weeks, then on Task tab on Report Operation Properties you would see Repeat option None and Every Week.
I. There is a known issue in SMC 5.7.0 and 5.7.1 that may be causing the problem you describe. I assume you have one or the other in use? If so, I'd highly recommend upgrading the SMC to 5.7.3. See the article in KB:McAfee | License Center (content below as well)
