You should use McAfee Installation designer which allow you to customize a VSE installation package with the config that you want.
Please, let me know if you need any help
Moved to VSE as a better spot for it.
Thnx for your quick response Jose Maria.
Unfortunatly VSE is already installed on all pc's a long time ago.
I was hoping I could export it to a .reg file so I can import it on the other PC's with a GPO or a logon script something like that.
Lately I made a few User-defined rules on my PC to protect me from Crypto-Locker and I was planning to copy them to all PC's
Installation designer will allow you to take a snapshot of the changed configuration & then create a package to modify the config on other machines.
ePO would be the best way forward if at all possible.
I think I will try to install EPO soon.
In the past I couldn't get it installed bcs my knowledge was not enough.
When I get stuck I will try to get help on the forum.
Thanx anyway for the advice(s)
I'd recommend the ePO root as installation designer will mean creating new packages & deploying them to every machine each time you make a global change.
I thought ePO was ment to adjust/modify already installed VSE's on the clients.
ePO can be used to manage the already installed products via Policy, also can deploy products via the Tasks & then report on it all as well.
Really is the way to go rather than having a heap of local installations/
