The Upgrade process is very easy to do.
1. you have to keep backup from old version
2. install the new version (it will overwrite there)
3. check the license
4. restore the backup.
There you go.
you can use trigger update at the end and enjoy
Thanks a lot but mu situation is moving from 1100 running 7.2 to virtual to be use 7.4

no. It is not complicated and it can takes about 20 minutes.
7.2 to any version newer than 7.3 is a bit of a bigger upgrade because there is an OS upgrade in the middle and there is two phases. So be patient with this upgrade.
