Can you describe what is the problem?
Well, the CD is accompanying a book on Delphi programming.
One of the tutorials on the disc (precompiled as .exe) immediately raises the alert, thereby preventing any extraction of content from the CD.

I assume this what you want
This for consumer
If it is a corporate issue then
You can go to the settings and set the Artemis scan to Very low.
Artemis is checking scripts and may be there is some suspicious thing found there!
Anyway set it to very low and it will done.
Let me know about the result...
Actually this is an enterprise suggestion correct? As in consumer you cannot lower the scanning level. At least this correct in that the only scan thoroughness lowering affect all detections
What product do you have?
McAfee VirusScan Enterprise + AntiSpyware Enterprise is in use.
Though lowering the Artemis scan is not an option due to corporate specifications.
Is it necessary to submit the file?
I think it worth to see the result by change it to very low.
You should do this for temporary term not permanent, and If you got the same error it is recommended to submit the file to McAfee for omitting it from suspicious format (If it is clean)
The file has been reviewed and confirmed to be non-malicious. It will no longer be detected by GTI.
