Hi ianwooly, I faced the same issue. My solution was to grant local admin rights to the dedicated Service Account of McAfee Portal Shield, which was used to access the database. After restarting the PortalShield Service i saw the green icon. The Serviceaccount was also granted to be logon as a service in the local security policies. Both permissions are NOT mentioned in the McAfee documentation.
