I assume you are talking about (Safekey) part of Livesafe? Here are some Instructions/Guidelines:
Or should you need further assistance, Technical Support is available24/7:
Also please make sure you are current and up to date with all of your Windows Updates, to include Internet Explorer. McAfee and other programs require it to be, in order to function properly.
It seems that this has been discussed in another thread as well. My advice if you are still having difficulty is to contact Technical Support. The link is inserted above.
Wishing you all the very best,
Here is another thread the OP started in regards to enabling Safekey in Firefox. Maybe this will give you a better insight as to his issues.... Welcome back
Thanks Ex_brit. You and Selvan have it under control. I was going to do the same, but felt uncomfortable doing so. Would have PM you, but not working?
I'm in and out. I wasn't sure which one to go with but this one seemed logical.
I cannot get Safe Key to install with Chrome (v37, 32 bit)
All the instructions appear to work, but the extension does not appear. It works fine with IE.
I've also got a "This device needs to be online to get the latest protection updates." message for my PC, which is odd, since I can only get to see this message when I go on line ... (don't know if the 2 issues are related).
I've tried full uninstall & re-install of all McAfee software, Virtual Technician, online Tier 2 support ...
In Firefox or Chrome, for instance, it needs to be enabled. Have you followed all the instructions as per the link already given> (Here: How to install SafeKey on a PC or Mac ) ?
If so I would contact Technical Support, it's free by phone or online chat and linked below.
