    Foundstone database installation fails while deploying  MVM. Tried the KB KB73994 help, no go! Any suggestions???

      KB73994 says to Disable FIPS compliant algorithms and reinstall MVM. But I have already disabled it, still same issue.    Environment :  McAfee Vulnerability Manager 7.5  Microsoft Windows 2008 R2 SP1…

              I don't use Foundstone but if its anything like ePO, then you can clearly see from your log that it cannot authenticate to the database using default "SA" account. If you have access to the database, go into SSMS and grant SA access to the Foundstone DB.

                Dear,

                 

                I had the similar problem in my lab and I found it as a SQL defect. I can suggest you just rebuild your DB or doing a clean install.
