Malware tends to get named multiple times as each team "discovers" it - mostly the large research teams, McAfee, Trend etc don't bother naming the run of the mill malware, but other research teams do, especially when they want to make some press about it.
Following the links from the article you posted, I was able to find the MD5 hash of the file (c2d73485095efdbd7ab625e469affb11 - which is the same for everyone), looking that up on Virustotal you'll see the coverage is fairly complete across the industry.

So McAfee has it as RDN/Generic BackDoor!yr
