Here's a short background... I have never used ePO before and my co-worker has used it in the past (~4 years ago). I'm using Xen and spun up a Windows server 2012 r2 and installed ePO 5.1.1 along with SQLexpress 2012. We are in the proof of concept stage and want to add a PC to ePO so we could push updates and see how it works. We also have Active Directory server which the PC is not added to. The ePO and PC are on the same network.
Does the PC need to be connected to the AD or can I just add the PC to ePO w/o AD?
I tried to add it but it fails. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Can someone provide me with steps on how to add a workstation?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know if you need me to clarify anything.
