I edited your header to something that now fits into the frame, also I moved the discussion to SecurityCenter as a more appropriate spot than Community Help.
We need more details please. What version of McAfee is this? Open SecurityCenter and click About and post just the version for SecurityCenter.
Also post what operating system and service pack (if applicable) you are using (right-click Computer on desktop or in Start Menu and select Properties) and, very important whether you use it or not, what version of Internet Explorer is installed. (Open it and click Help > About).
Also check your system clock (bottom right corner of the desktop and make sure the time AND time-zone are correct.
Also are you permanently connected to the Internet and if so how many networks are showing in Windows Network and Sharing Center?
Thanks for your response.
McAfee Security Center, version 12.8
McAfee Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware, version 16.8
McAfee Personal Firewall, version 13.8.
McAfee Site Advisor, version 3.7.
McAfee Parental Controls, version 14.8.
McAfee Quick Clean and Shredder, version 12.8.
McAfee Vulnerability Scanner, version 2.8.
Windows Vista Home Premium, Service Pack 2
Internet Explorer 9, version 9.0.8112.16421 (primarily use Firefox)
System clock settings are correct.
There is only one network.
I don't recommend disabling Access Protection for any length of time. When you reinstalled McAfee did you run the MCPR cleanup and reboot before reinstalling, and was that install from your on\line account rather than any CD you may have?
If not then follow the instructions in this FAQ.
Where can I download MCPR?
Scroll down that link I posted, it's right there.
OK, good luck.
