    ePO Doesn't Show Product/patch for VSE 8.8


      I have recently upgraded VSE to, but ePO (4.6.8-112) doesn't seem to be collecting the VSE info from the workstations. At the same time we have been updating the agent to and that comes through fine on ePO (after wakeup).


      I have used KB74912, and everything seems fine (LastProp.xml all looks fine etc.). I can't figure out why the VSE information is not appearing on ePO, when the agent info is. Has anyone else experenced an issue like this?

          Check below 2 things:


          A. Check if ePO is having VSE 8.8 Patch 4 extensions.

          B. Check plugin flag value locally on machine, which is should be 0.


          1. Click Start, Run, type Regedit and click OK.
          2. Navigate to:

            [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Network Associates\ePolicy Orchestrator\Application Plugins\Viruscan8xxx]

          3. Right-click on the DWORD value Plugin Flag.
          4. Select Modify from the menu.
          5. Type 0 in the Value data box, and click OK.
          6. Close the registry editor.
          7. Send an Agent Wake up call to the client computer from the ePO console.
