    Endpoint Protection Scan Configuration

    shane.johnson

I had a few questions on setting up client tasks for the Mac. I noticed that there is Anti-Malware On Demand Scans as well as Endpoint Protection which seems to be also for anti-malware.

When setting up these tasks it requires me to set the files and directories for each task, but I'm not sure what the best practice is for mac scanning.

      So my questions:

      1. What is the main difference between these two (they both mention anti-malware)?

      2. What files/folders should I set for defaults since there are none?

      3. Any recommendations on separating certain folders for Daily, Weekly, or Monthly scans?

I've attached a couple of screenshots to better explain what I'm talking about.
