I am a developer at a2z, Inc. It has recently come to our attention that several users have received the attached warning indicating that our app contains spyware (Artemis!0234132b9515:6:13.2.1). The screen shot is representative of just one of our show apps, but we have received reports of other apps on the same code base triggering the same warning. Our event apps serve a variety of industries and are used to inform users and allow them to learn about events and build itineraries for their show experience.
Our app in the Play Store, SEMICON West 2014, was flagged as spyware (as seen in the attached image). Our apps are built using the same code base and are customized for our specific clients so there are several other apps under a2z, Inc. that have also been flagged. We wanted to know why our apps are being flagged as spyware and what can be done to fix this issue. We've also sent an email to email@example.com with the same subject line. If anyone has any suggestions or can help in any way it would be greatly appreciated.
This gives some more information and explains the appeal process. Just wanted to make sure you have the correct information when you contact them.
