What does the console show in VSphere? Can you SSH/Putty in the VM once it is up and running?
If seen this message on two occassions, once was the database was not happy and the other was a kernel panic ( verified via the console )
Have you verified that the "System Requirements" meet the minimum levels?
on VSphere you can't do any service command.
also you can't open SSH console
the minimum levels is verified
I am also with the same problem, anyone have any suggestions?
The browser error is of no value.... Connect to the console in VSphere and watch the VM boot then post an actual error message or useful console messages.
If the VM seems to boot OK... Try switching to the second terminal (Ctrl-Alt-F2) and see if you can login. If you can login, then run NitroStarted and "tail -500 /var/log/messages" and report back.
all it took was a boot and everything was normalized = )
I had that same issue. I have deleted all cache, cookies, etc ... from my browser and all works fine.
The easiest way is just:
Service httpd restart , also run df -h to verify whether there is space left on the ESM. In some cases the temporary index files my grow and consume the enrite space on the ESM. if there is no space follow the procedure
Then you should alse review Reports that might be with huge time range and of course the ESM data retention
