Link aggregation in load balancing mode

Link aggregation in NGFW is implemented based on IEEE 802.3ad standard and LACP is the protocol used. Thus the switch/router also needs to be confgured to use LACP. When configuring aggregate with Cisco devices, this is especially important to keep in mind as Cisco defaults to using their proprietary PaGP (etherchannel) protocol instead of LACP. Command that enables LACP in Cisco side is interface level command channel-group number active/passive

      Example:

      Router(config-if)# channel-group 1 mode active
