We had experienced similar issues with the 74xx series, the issue is corrected in 7.x if you set a particular feature which I do not recall off hand in the policy.
It turns out to be a conflict with the wireless adapter on certain models.
Isn't 6.1 EOL?
we extended the EOL for v6 From March 2014 to June 2014 to help some customers finish their upgrades, but we are not accepting any code revisions to the product anymore. Support only.
We have installed the 7.1 agent and have yet to be able to re-create the problem. We will do further testing tomorrow but fingers crossed this may have fixed the problem.
