That is incorrect.
The first screenshot you sent is of a cert that the CA issued, not the CA itself.
Look at the Certification Path, then view the authority, you will see the expiration is much longer than the issued cert.
The certificates created by SSL Scanner are valid for one year, however they will automatically refresh before they expire. The expiration date of the Root CA is the one that is important to look for.
