We have a DLP policy that blocks write access to devices. Devices are whitelisted based on vendor and product ID.
This works fine, except now we have one user that was always able to used a whitelisted device, based on vendor and product ID, but since a few days isn't.
When I looked at the logging it show this:
Since a couple of days, the logging now shows this:
So, from the logging, the vendor and product ID are gone.
How can this happen?
I don't want to whitelist an individual device, but I just want the vendor and product ID to be seen by DLP again.
What can I do to fix this?
I guess it's a local system issue, not giving the parameters to DLP.
