Some Server 2008 virtual machines experience high memory usage during DAT updates

I have 4 VMWare servers running Server 2008 32-bit that are set up identically to each other but when the common DAT update task runs two if the four servers experience high memory usage. The only difference in the configuration is that the two experiencing the issue are on a different subnet than the two not having the issues. I checked in the Agent log and they all finish the update in 48 seconds and all appear to be pulling the DAT files directly from the EPO server repository. Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this?

      I am running the following:

      ePO:     4.6.6 Build:176

      McAfee Agent: 4.6.0.3122

      VSE:         8.8.0.975
