Artemis is the name McAfee Labs gives to unknown, possible risks. They are submitted to them automatically for analysis. If you post the Artemis detection numbers here their staff may spot them and post.
The firewall automatically blocks certain IP's that are known to be dangerous but it shouldn't turn off frequently. A momentary lapse is fairly normal but not a repeated one.
Run the Virtual Technician to check if there are issues and see if it fixes them for you. http://mvt.mcafee.com/
Also make sure that your system, whatever it is, is totally up to date especially all browsers and their add-ons. That includes Internet Explorer even if you don't use it.
Thanks for your reply.
The two actually have the same name and are "Artemis!502632079A97" (Trojan). It says they were found during a virus scan, at the same exact time the scan ended. If that should be area for concern?
OK I have added the number to the headers of this thread which hopefully will attract attention although I can't promise anything.
If the Virtual Technician doesn't help then post back.
Also did the message say where the detection was ? ie what files and folders? Check in your navigation quarantined and trusted items area and see if they are saved there?
The file was on C:\ on another user account, then AppData\Local\Temp\vwmbuvtg.exe, which I have no idea what that specific instance is, but I'll look further into it.
