    Deleting a Registry Key

    sagarmc004

      Hi,

      A process is trying to delete a registry "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet002" in a soldified system. "REGISTRY_WRITE_DENIED  file_name="HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet002" "

I cannot add the process as updater for security reasons.

I  removed  write protection on the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet002 but again process failed to delete it. "sadmin write-protect-reg -r HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet002 "

The reason for denial is "File-integrity-protected".

Is there any other way through which I can allow the process to delete this registry key ?

      Regards,

      Sagar
