The 'Task' (scheduled) is being delivered to the Agent at ASC within datastore.bin file (shown as Policy under Datastore.bin file). Agent extracts the file and create a number.ini file for each Task with Task details configured at ePO. The number.ini should be created under "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\McAfee\Common Framework\Task".
If the taks is being delivered and invoked, it can be verfied in Agent_hostname*.log and McScript*.log. Additionally, at next ASCI, the installed product details should be available in ePO console under products section for each Managed Agentss).
Hope this clarifies.
So there is no easy way to see how many of the 100 computers already invoke the task?. The only way is to check it one by one either via logs in the client side or the "Product" section in the ePO?
What is the ePO version with Patch (build)? If it's ePO 5.0, you may run a default query "Applied Client Tasks" to see list of applied Client tasks grouped by product(s).
You can create a query to look for this information.
Queries > New
Events > Client Events
Chart > Table
You can accept the default columns, or change them as needed. In the filter you can specify Initiator Type = Deployment Task. It wont give you the name of the task but it will let you see what systems recieved the products associated with the deployment tasks.
Try the below against ePO Database, see if that helps.
SELECT * from EPOTaskObjects
