what do you mean by
taken backup of all the data in D: Drive.
If you have a backup, I don't understand why you need to recover it?
Its simple means that a PC is encrypted with EEPC 7.0.1 and during formatting, Backup of c: drive (OS Installed) taken in another Drive, So what would be the steps to recover the D:Drive data, because McAfee has suggested that we can't recover Data of encypted PC (EEPC 7.0.1) if we format the OS installed drive, is it true ?? or from other way, we can recover the Data from D: Drive.
Sorry, I'm still misunderstanding the question.
Are you saying that the laptop had 2 partitions, C:\ & D:\ and that both partitions were encrypted?
C: has been formatted and new OS installed and you can no longer access encrypted partition D: when you boot into the laptop?

You can always decypt a partition if you have the key for it, using EETech
