EPO 4.6.6 Agent push fails to all systems

Hello,

So my issue is pushing the client out to Win7 x64 machines. I followed just about every white page I could find on this but it is still coming back as an error/problem. Items that I have checked already:

https://kc.mcafee.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=KB56386

Verbose logging set to 8 and the log is as follows:

#04784 NAIMSRV  Failed to authenticate to \\dwp3654.adroot.internal, err=53

20131106123325 I #04784 NAIMSRV  Successfully authenticated to \\dwp3654\ADMIN$

20131106123333 E #04784 NAIMSRV  Failed to download and verify agent install package

Repeats...

I have run this as domain admin with the exact same result. No firewall issues in between or local firewall issues. I've rulled that out as well.

The generate error in the Server Task log is: Failed to authenticate with remote system, system error: The network path was not found.

DNS is correct for both EPO server and the test machine that is being pushed to... ---and both are pingable.

Failed to authenticate to \\dwp3654.adroot.internal, err=53

Most possible reason that you don't have access to client machine's Admin$ share access from ePO server.

Make sure that you are meeting the environmental requirement as per KB#: KB56386.

    Thanks

Could you please delete mfe82031643.tmp from C:\Windows\TEMP and trying pushing the agent? If possible please reboot the machine and try to push the agent again.

    Thanks

Hi kimob5, which McAfee Agent version are you using? Did you try to check a different McAfee Agent to the evaluation branch and set a deployment task to see if it also fails?
