What model of touchscreen is it using? EEPC in BIOS mode is limited to USB WACOM screens only, as touchscreen support is not standardized.
if you use UEFI mode, most manufacturers provide the touch screen drivers as part of their UEFI implementation - there's a test tool in the KC to check this.
I'm not sure how to find the model of touchscreen.
Sounds like I will have to reformat and try this in UEFI. I haven't done any UEFI encryption so I hope it won't be too big of a deal. I'll report back next week on my findings.
I appreciate your help!
You can find the touchscreen mode in Device Manager.

I've got a few Helix's here & can confirm UEFI mode will get the touchscreen working no problems.
To get around disable USB3.0 support, you should apply the latest firmware patch for the keyboard dock from Lenovo - http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/pccbbs/mobiles/gfqj03us.exe
I have confirmed as well that UEFI mode allows the touchscreen to work. Thanks all for the help!
