Autoupdate failed: Error occurred while downloading avvdat-7221.zip

Hi Team,

We have a McAfee epo server running on VirusScan Enterprise version 8.7.0. We have 10 clients installed with McAfee agent version - 4.5.0.1270. All the clients running fine and DAT version is up to date. However there is a Windows 2003 Server Standard Edition SP 2 client always failed to run autoupdate. The logs shows:

Server:

VirusScan Enterprise version 8.7.0

Client:

Windows 2003 Server Standard Edition SP 2

McAfee agent version - 4.5.0.1270

Scan engine version (32-bit) - 5400.1158

DAT Version - 7220.0000

DAT Created On: 2013/10/06 (Manual update using AVV-DAT package)

We have checked everything and the client has no issue connecting to the server. All the policies up to date except the DAT version. We can update the DAT version manually using AVV-DAT package but the autoupdate won't work. We have tried to reinstall the agent but still having the same problem.

What is the root cause of this issue? How can we resolve this?

Thanks & Regards,

TS
