I am new to site. I registered because I am having an on-going issue with logins on my Linux servers and wanted to verify or rule out LinuxShield. I am not an expert on LinuxShield and I didn't install this on our network, so feel free to ask me for any info that might help you help me. I currently have a ticket open with Red Hat, because periodically I am unable to SSH (via Putty) into some or all of my Linux servers. If I reboot the VM's, then I am able to SSH again, but it eventually fails later on. I ran a SOS report for Red Hat and they said everything looked fine, but they wanted to me to verify if LinuxShield was part of or the whole problem. So there's my question: has anyone had any issue with LinuxShield affecting network logins?
Moved provisionally to MAC and Linux Products for better support.
Not clear what version you mean - latest versions for Linux flavours are VSEL 1.7.1 and recently released VSEL 1.9.
Maybe you wanna check out exclusions recommended in the Best Practice Guide -
(This is the 1.7x guide - but the exclusion recommendations hold true if running 1.9 (the 1.9 BP guide is currently being worked on))
