I didnt even see that there was examples in the category descriptions in section 3 of the guide, thanks.
Labs also maintains a test site that has one URL for each category where you can test if any individual category is getting blocked:
Each URL represents one of the category codes in the reference guide.
This one is wrong:
-This is an example URL which should be categorized as a Malicious with a high risk reputation score.
but it's rated Business Minimal Risk -6
Yes, use the _red instead.
For reputation checks, i also use:
I wish the url's above were all still categorized correctly. Is this still being maintained?
Why is it http://www.testingmcafeesites.com/testreputation_highrisk.html is not blocked on our MWG 7.3 even though trustedsource.org shows the site as
http://www.testingmcafees ... Uncategorized URL High Risk
And our MWG 7.3 is set to "Block URLs With Bad Reputation" URL.IsHighRisk <Default> equals true OR URL.IsMediumRisk <Default> equals true.
Yet the site displays every time.
it's because the site is uncategoriezed anbd your settings for URL filtering are set to lookup the IP address if the site comes back uncategorized.
That's why i use the csm-testcenter.org urls for reputation instead.
