    Upgrade from 10.1.x to 10.2.x

Does anyone know if you are required to re-provision devices if upgrading from 10.1.x to 10.2.x?  I've been told you do not need to unless modifying policy.  Unfortunately, I'm unable to test prior to a production update.

You should not have to reprovision devices going form 10.1 to 10.2.

The only scenarios that would require you to have to reprovision iOS devices would be:

          - upgrading from EMM 10.2  to EMM 11

          - if the Portal certificate is updated

          - if the MDM certificate is updated to a new certificate with a new Apple topic.

I have a similar question I can't seem to find the answer to in the forums/online

is reprovisioning only necessary when changing major versions? (e.g., 10.0.x to 10.1.x does NOT require devices to be provisioned, but 10.x to 11.x does)

I'm asking because we have several smaller versions to catch up on and like the OP, I cannot test in a dummy environment prior to a production rollout.
