Just a bit more information. I have created some users, one for each of the permission sets that are in ePO. I logged in as each one and tried to import and it still fails with the same message. I also created a customer group that has full access to everything in terms of viewing or editing. This user is also unable to import the policies.
When you export and import policies you need to assign them again. From personal experience I won't do this again, I would rather export the policies from the old server, print them out and manually set them up again on the new server.
Hi clindblom, if you want to import your policies then be sure to be logged as global admin and not as another user.
This is because even if you create a new permission set with all permissions this user won't have same permissions as a global admin.
Trying to Import from 4.6.4 to 5.0.1.
Using ANY (including Global Admin) I am unable to import. I just get the error message that I am not authorissed to do so?
I came across this while googling! : https://kc.mcafee.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=KB78214
