Can you clarify what McAfee product(s) you are using please? So I can then move this to the appropriate spot. This area is for help with this community only.
I will add that no antivirus is guaranteed 100% as you probably realize and care should always be taken and the systems should always be kept totally up to date, especially browsers and add-ons, including IE if another one is used by default.

See if you can unhide the folder from the command prompt using the attrib command.
Also if it is being infected by usb use access protection and go to the category Common Maximum Protection and to the right of that check the box to block and report on the rule Prevent programs registering to autorun.
