However, there are support people patrolling these forums so hopefully one will answer you soon. In the meanwhile you may wish to try the support number.
It's a pity, that after so many discussions you haven't solution for this question. I'm waiting for help from support people
This is a peer to peer forum with an occasional McAfee staff person looking in and is more a self-help place really. If there was a magic solution I would post it but each case is different. Actual support has always been available over the phone, have you tried it?
There are also many FAQ's available through the Technical Support link under Useful Links at the top of this page but actual support is via the phone number I previously posted.

Looks like AntiTheft is not uninstalled properly, the system is still enrolled.
Please follow the steps mentioned below.
1. Login to your mcafee account, download and install AntiTheft.
2. Set up the product with your email-id (same email-id you used last time to set up). To set up the product, click on the desktop shortcut and then click 'Set Up' button on the home screen.
'Set Up' can be launched from the context menu option of the tray icon as well.
3. Do a sync once Set Up is completed.
4. You can now uninstall it from add-remove programs.

You'll see a screen like this(see picture attached).
If you remember the 'User Password', you can select option 1. User password is the password/number you entered while registering the product.
If you don't remember the password, please contact support for using option#2. They'll provide you a token so that you can login to windows.
thx again, using option 2 received temporary pass(25 characters), but it's failed on my laptop/
You have to contact support again to get it correct. As I don't have access to the support system, I'll not be able to answer it.
