McAfee Endpoint Encryption for files and folders causing file corruption

      Hi Experts,

In my office laptop, I have McAfee Endpoint Encryption for files and folders installed. I have encrypted my external hard disk using that. Then I connected the HDD to my personal laptop not having McAfee Endpoint encryption installed. After that, I found some folders renamed with junk characters and all data inside those folders are corrupted. I cannot copy/rename/delete those folders and files.

This happened 3 times. The only solution I have is to backup the remaining data and format the HDD.

Please let me know why it is happenning and any work around?

      Thanks and Regards,

      Arijit
