    ePO 5.0 random crash of tomcat7.exe Application Server

      Hello, I recently installed a new ePO 5.0 Server and migrated all the settings and policies from a ePO 4.6 Server onto it.


      However, I encountered a serious problem: The ePO Application Server (tomcat7.exe) crashed the second time already, making it impossible to connect to the console and the worst thing: DAT Updates do not take place anymore untill you start the Service again.


      I really need a solution for this problem.

      Unfortunately, the event is too old so I can't find any entries anymore in the ePO Log.

          Impossible to say with level of information, sorry.

          You'll need to increase the logging sizes to provide a larger timeslice of log data for the next event.

          You might also need to set this up:


          McAfee support article KB73309 - How to generate a Java Heap dump or thread dump to troubleshoot an ePO issue.


          Armed with that information you can open a McAfee support case for analysis, which would be advisable in this situation.
