Recently, I bought a DELL laptop with Mcafee Security Center preinstalled.
Everything was working OK.However, I started noticing that the applications windows were not working. They freeze once they were launched. I have been checking some forums and one of the suggestions is to uninstall the antivirus. I tried to do that, but once I started the uninstalling process a white screen appeared and I cannot finish it.
Could you please help me tosolve this issue?
First you are going to have to deal with the white/blank window problem which is caused by several anomalies in the system.
See TS101233 for 3 different ways of approaching it.
Once that is sorted out you should then be able to uninstall things normally and then run the cleanup tool as per TS101331

Thank you very much for your help.
I have tried the three options mentioned in the document TS101233 with no good results. In the third part, I could not uninstall the program because the white window appears and also I could not run MCPR because in the article recommends first to uninstall and I could not perform this task.
I have made the workaround and no errors appearead.
Could you please help me?
Check for malware using Stinger and Malwarebytes Free linked in the last link in my signature below. To keep Malwarebytes free of charge do NOT accept the free trial.
Make sure your operating system is completely up to date, including the latest version of Internet Explorer, even if you do not use it.
Then contact Technical Support, it's free by phone or online chat and for your area is linked HERE
I have installed Stinger and Malwarebytes. The former detected no errors. The latter detected 3 infected files which were deleted. After this, I restarted the computer and still having the same problem.
Before doing this, I installed all the updates of the system. This also includes Internet Explorer.
So, tell me how to proceed.
Did you click that link to try Technical Support? They are better equipped than I to help you with this.
