There isn't such a thing as an application that will catch everything, that's why we recommend supplementary anti-spyware tools HERE.
A good tool to try would be Superantispyware (free): http://www.superantispyware.com/superantispywarefreevspro.html
If the problem persists then use Hijackthis and post its log on one of the following forums for expert assistance:

The other thing to be careful about is to be always totally up to date with Windows updates.
What is your operating system and service pack (if any) and what McAfee products/versions do you have?
To answer the first question go to Start/Run and enter winver and then click Enter.
To answer the second double-click the taskbar icon to open Security Center and then click "View Details" or "About" at the lower right of the window.
Post those details.
Also make sure that your Flash/Shockwave players are up to date HERE. Also Java HERE. (Uninstall any older versions)
