    computer crashes

      computer crashes when I run a full scan, what do I do?

          It's hard to tell really.  Technical Support have the tools to troubleshoot  and to read logs and they are available free by phone or online chat through Useful Links at the toip of this page.

           

          Could be that your machine overheats during the scan, this could be caused by a number of factors, many encrypted files that have to be opened to scan and a combined with inadequate cooling, but that's only speculation on my part.

           

          Also in Scheduled Scan settings do you the item checked, "Scan using minimal resources" - that makes it slower & less aggressive and could help it run better.
