    SSL Interception

If I have a device like a Cisco WAAS, I can perform SSL interception on SSL traffic that does lacks true HTTP within the SSL connection. This offers the potential to inspect the traffic. With MWG, if I intercept SSL and the traffic isn't HTTP within the connection, the application will always break.

I was wondering what the technical reason for that is.

I understand that client certificate authentication will always break during any sort of SSL interception.
