    EPO lost and found

    parth

      HI ,

I am new to the ePO and would like to understand what is lost and found and how machine is moved to lost and found.

Depending on how you organize and manage your system tree, epo uses different criterias to place the managed systems in the correct location. If a machine pops up in epo that does not match any sorting criteria that you specified, it gets placed in the Lost&Found group. The Lost&Found group is a so called "catch-all" group, meaning if none of the specified sorting criteria is matched it will be placed in this group. I hope this makes sens :)

Here some additional characteristics of the Lost&Found group:

          • can't be deleted
          • can't be renamed
          • sorting criteria cannot be changed
          • group always appears last in the system tree
