If you have already uninstalled the software, please follow the steps mentioned below.
1. Install the software using the same user-account(email-id).
2. Try to uninstall again.
If the software is not removed, please send us the logs, can be found under the directory "C:\ProgramData\McAfee\MCLOGS".
The user stated:
we only have the user name that the customer used to set up anti theft on the computer and not the password, they are unable to reinstall
The user has to goto home.mcafee.com to reset the password.
If the user has no access to the particular e-mail account to get the new password, he has to go through standard customer care procedure to get access to the account.
