Right click the file - there should be an extra encryption properties page.
Mcafee EEFF agent is not available on respective system ,when right click on file not able to see encryption properties.am I missing some option from policy so to view this option.....?
No - you won't be able to see any details without EEFF installed. Windows does not inherently support EEFF's encryption methods.
You can tell the file is encryped though as it has an extra unicode char in the file extension, and I think you might be able to get the key ID by viewing the top of the file in a text editor. There's no supported API for this though.
How about if he opens the files with notepad? I think the first 3-4 rows of any encrypted file contains a text like "Encrypted using EEFF ver with Key name xxx"
